HELLO, I'm Chris

My journey into the world of design started early, inspired by my childhood passions for music and skateboarding. From a young age, I found myself obsessing over the branding, clothing, and art direction of my favorite musicians and skateboard companies. This obsession helped shape my own aesthetic preferences and led me to begin my freelance career as a graphic designer, working with bands to create visually captivating designs.

Over the last decade, I've ventured into managerial and operational roles within the hospitality industry, where I've further developed my communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. These skills have become intrinsic to my journey as a designer, as they're pivotal in crafting person-centric and emotionally resonant experiences.

Beyond my dedication to design, I'm an avid movie enthusiast. As much as my schedule allows, I step into the world of filmmaking on both the production and performance side. I view the world through the lens of a storyteller and am endlessly fascinated by the visual language that surrounds us. As I delved into the realm of product design, it became clear that my deep understanding of the visual language of film could be a driving force behind my journey toward a richer comprehension of my overall design practice.

I'm a perpetual learner with a strong desire to continually develop and refine my skills. My ultimate goal is to unearth what motivates other people. I am constantly in awe of the passion that they are able to nurture and share with the world around them. I believe that, through a supportive community, we can collectively reach new heights in pursuit of our goals and help one another shape a better world through all modes of design.
